We are taking all precautionary measures to identify and contain any possible exposures, and we are in constant communication with state and local health agencies to ensure timely and coordinated response efforts.
Please note this is an emerging, rapidly evolving situation. We are regularly updating this page with key information as we receive it, but we encourage you to refer to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as a reliable source for the most updated information as it becomes available, in addition to updated guidance.

As we see an increase in COVID-19 cases in the United States we are continually appraising our approach to the care of our patients.
We are attempting to reach a careful balance of caring for the well, and caring for the sick. We have modified our office dynamic to minimize exposure of sick and well patients by partitioning our office into two separate component groups and distinct staff who will be caring for each of those groups.
If you are at all concerned that you are at increased risk of having contracted the novel coronavirus, we are here to answer all of your questions and direct you to appropriate testing.
Patients of Healthy Steps Pediatrics can now make payments and manage their billing statements online with Smart Pay!
With an account, patients can view statements, make a payment, set up auto-pay, and update their billing address. Patients can also click Pay Now from the home page to make a quick payment without creating an account.
Our team is currently developing new features for the future, including paperless statements delivered by email (optional) and ACH payments that directly debit a bank account. Stay tuned as we add new features for your convenience!
Our billing staff is ready to answer any questions and assist patients with the SmartPay site. Call our office and select the Billing option, or press # followed by x209.
Dr. Jessy John is dealing with a family medical emergency and will be out of the office for several weeks. Rest assured that our patients' care will continue to be a top priority, and Dr. Meyer, Dr. Serkes, and LeeAnn will serve your family during Dr. John's temporary absence. Dr. John thanks you, the Healthy Steps patient community, for your well-wishes and prayers. We ask that you help us provide her family the much-needed privacy, space, and time they need before reaching out.
Should you have any questions about this matter, please email us at email@example.com.
We are excited to be transitioning to a new and cutting edge Electronic Medical Record.
EPIC is the largest and most integrated EMR in the area. We are currently linked directly with Penn Care and through EPIC’s integration module, Care Everywhere, we will also be able to access patient records through the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, A.I. Dupont’s Hospital for Children and Main Line Health.
We are sure there will be growing pains as we move through this complicated process but we know in no time it will expand our ability to provide the most up to date care that our patients deserve. Please be patient with small delays which may occur, hopefully only in the short term, as we move forward.
We're so pleased to welcome you to the new HealthyStepsPeds.com. In addition to a new and fresh look and mobile-friendly layout, our new site has a spot for news and updates (like this post) from the practice. Stay tuned for seasonal posts from our team!
Healthy Steps Pediatrics was proud to once again support the annual Food Fight cooking competition for a cause, held on March 25, 2017 at Radley Run Country Club. The event was a huge success, having sold out in just over a week and gaining the support of over 30 local sponsors. Healthy Steps was a Tasting Sponsor and is proud to support the mission of Team CMMD, which offers financial assistance to families struggling to make ends meet following a cancer diagnosis.
Team CMMD was founded by the wife of Healthy Steps' own Dr. Christopher Meyer. When his wife, Christine Meyer, MD ("CMMD") had had enough of cancer in her own medical practice, she rallied a small team of runners and fundraisers to make a difference. That band of original supporters has grown to over 1,300 to date, and has donated over $1 Million to the American Cancer Society and over $100,000 in 2015 to local cancer families. Healthy Steps has annually supported the team's events, including funding a summer running camp fo...
