Brief Biography of Dr. Serkes
Dr. Serkes has close to 20 years of experience in
treating children in Chester County. He received his
medical degree from the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical
School in 1987. He completed a 3 year residency in
Pediatrics at the University of Maryland Hospital in
Baltimore, Maryland. He is board certified in Pediatrics
and recently completed his recertification exam. He
is the former Chairman of Pediatrics at The Chester
County Hospital and a Fellow of the American Academy of
Pediatrics. His special interests include
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Treatment of
Bedwetting, Management of Stomach problems like
constipation, reflux and food allergies. He is an
expert in children with celiac disease.
Outside
of work Dr. Serkes is busy raising 3 boys. He is involved
with in Cub Scouts and with a Church plant
(starting a new church) in the Ludwig's Corner area.
